We Make U Bake Best Practices & Instructions

We Make You Bake (also known as Take n Bake) Instructions for your Double D's pizza


Preheat your oven to 425 degrees. Remove the plastic wrap and place your Double D's pizza along with the provided baking tray on the center rack of your oven. Ensure that the center rack is positioned 6 to 8 inches from the bottom of the oven.


The pizza baking instructions suggest a baking time of 12 to 20 minutes, which can vary based on the thickness of the pizza and the type of oven you are using. A Double D's pizza is perfectly baked when the crust and bottom achieve a nutty brown color, and the cheese bubbles slowly in the center. To check if it’s ready, lift the edge of the pizza with a spatula and inspect the bottom.


After baking, remove the pizza from the oven and let it stand for a few minutes before cutting it into slices.


Important


The baking tray included with your pizza is designed for one-time use only. It may discolor during baking, which is completely normal.


Best Practices for a Perfect Pizza


If you’re not going to bake your pizza immediately, refrigerate or freeze your Double D's pizza as soon as possible. We recommend that you bake a refrigerated pizza within 3 days. Don’t forget to preheat your oven beforehand, as this is crucial for proper cooking. Always bake only one pizza at a time and rotate it for an even bake. Ensure that the baking tray does not touch the back or sides of the oven. For an extra crispy bottom crust, consider sliding the pizza directly onto the oven rack for the last few minutes of baking time. Keep in mind that not all ovens cook the same, so monitor your pizza carefully as you become familiar with the ideal cooking time for your specific oven.


Before you begin, make sure you have all the necessary equipment ready. We provide the baking tray, but you will need oven mitts or potholders, a spatula for checking the bottom of the pizza crust, and a pizza cutter or a large knife or scissors to slice the pizza once it’s cooked.
